- 2011-02-03: Seeking participating members
Description
Recognizing that extensive accountability, expertise, and good practices already exist in the sector, this initiative aims to build upon our strengths and further develop our organizational capacity. We will identify the organizational practices and administrative systems that agencies need to be optimally responsive, innovative, effective and accountable.
Key priorities throughout the initiative include transparency, meaningful engagement of OCASI members and partners, and ongoing communications.
This initiative will build upon existing resources and be catered to suit the unique needs, conditions and values that drive this sector. The two-year funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation extends until October 2009.
Major Activities
- Develop voluntary organizational standards, in consultation with membership and directed by an Advisory Committee. The standards document will be available in French & English.
