This new website has settlement information in 11 languages. Provide your clients with information in their preferred language, even if you do not speak that language yourself. Study: Settlement Experiences in a Small City: Implications for Social Work Practice
This study looks at the settlement challenges faced by family class immigrants in smaller communities outside of the major metropolitan areas of Canada. The author was conducted a mixed method research design of key informant interviews, focus groups, and photovoice research. Date: 2010.
