Moving Professional Learning to Classroom Practice: An Instructor Handbook is designed to help LINC and Adult ESL instructors in government-funded language training programs in Ontario apply professional learning to day-to-day teaching.
It consists of 4 chapters:
- Chapter 1: The Professional Development Landscape in Ontario
- Chapter 2: A Reflective Method (Offers a practical method for applying professional learning to classroom practice.)
- Chapter 3: Learning from SLA and TESL Literature (Offers brief summaries of TESL research on several topics.)
- Chapter 4: Practices and Resources for CLB-based Planning
The Instructor Handbook has a companion document, the PD Partner Model Implementation Guide.
